Daniel Theodore Meyer, 78, of Greendale, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018. He was born December 31, 1939 in Moores Hill, Indiana, son of the late John and Luella Meyer. Dan enjoyed fishing and being grandpa.

He loved drinking coffee at Kinnett’s Truck Stop. He retired from Alton Box. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Barbara Ann Meyer; son, Jeff Meyer of Greendale, IN; 2 daughters, Teresa Hudson of Lawrenceburg, IN, Stephanie Lynn Meyer Horn of Greendale, IN; 8 grandchildren, Brandon, Brenton, Ashlee, Leah, Charlie Jr, Jodi, Juli and Myah; and 7 great grandchildren, Uriah, Milee, Baylee, Braydon, Alex, Brandon Jr, Kayden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Luella Meyer. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 12 pm to 2 pm at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 2 pm.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
