Danny Copeland was born on November 29, 1958 to the late Alma Smith and Mullins Copeland in Pompano Beach, FL. He was the 4th child of 7 siblings. He was reared in the Church at Greater Bethel AME Church in Deerfield Beach, FL.

Danny attended Deerfield Beach High School and graduated in the class of 1977. After high school graduation he worked with Thomas Roofing for 10years and later become employed with the City of Deerfield Beach for over 20 years and became a Ground Maintenance Crew Lead. Danny met and married the love of his life Sharon Dean Copeland in 1983.

This union of 36 years was blessed with 4 loving children and 4 grandchildren, whom he loved deeply. Danny was very friendly and loved to laugh and enjoyed family gatherings. He was always the center of the sports and political debate under the family tree.

Danny loved sports and was an avid baseball fan and player. He coached several years with the Deerfield Raiders Little League Football and later assisted with the Deerfield Beach Packer Rattlers. The kids loved him, especially riding on the back of his truck.

Danny will truly be missed by his family and friends of the neighborhood. On April 19, 2019 Danny was called home to be with the Lord. He leaves cherished memories with his wife Sharon Copeland of Deerfield Beach, FL; 4 children, Jakendra Copeland, Deerfield Beach, FL; Stephen Copeland, Margate, FL; Jeffrey Copeland, Sr., Deerfield Beach, FL; and Derrick Copeland; Orlando FL.

4 Grand- children, Mia, Madison, Jeffrey Jr, and Xavier. Siblings: Larry Adderly (Beverly), Patricia Ford, Beverly Jones, Judith Wilson (Darrel), Linda Holloway (Nolan), and Micheal Ferline (Tina). In-laws Gwen McDonald, Eugene McDonald (Vanessa), Beverly Cummings (Roscoe), Gary Dean, and Dwayne Dean.
