Obituary for Danny Lee Pigott Danny Lee Pigott, 78, of Sawmill Rd. , Lumberport, WV passed away at 12:23 PM Friday, March 1, 2019 at United Hospital Center following an extended illness. He was born January 18, 1941 in Randolph County, the son of the late Raymond Homer Pigott and Virginia Merle Pigott.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Moody Pigott and his grandson, Jerry “J.J.” Stire. Surviving are his sons, John Pigott and his wife Becky, of Maulsby Cove and Bruce Misner of Lumberport; his daughter Tammy Pike of Lumberport; Grandchildren, Michelle Britton and her husband Duane and Madison Pigott; Granddaughter-in-law, Jessica Stire of Morgantown; Great-grandchildren, Madison, Mason, Maddox, and Jackson Stire,and Dakota and Peyton Britton. Danny was a Christian and was humbled by God’s mercy.

He loved his family and his animals, always taking in stray animals. He loved to watch sports, enjoyed reading and playing golf. Friends will be received at the Harmer Funeral Home, Shinnston from 10 am to 1 pm Tuesday, March 5, 2019 with a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
