Danny Lewis Hallman, of Leesville, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 28, 2018. He was born in Leesville on January 15, 1942 to the late William Miles and Annie Mae Hallman. He graduated from Gilbert High School in 1960, and followed the construction trade as a pipe welder.

He was a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Locals 227 and later 421. He is a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Leesville. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 Sunday, September 30,… Read More » at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with interment in the church cemetery with Rev.

David Edenfield and Rev. John Yorio officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Active pallbearers will be Billy Freeman, Jimmy Johnson, Tim Craps, Karl Cato, Chad Bush and Greg Craps. Danny married the love of his life, Iris Darline in June 1968, and were married forty-eight years until her passing in 2016. They have one son, Michael.

Danny is survived by brothers, James, Elliott “Ed” (Elaine) and was predeceased by sister, Pauline. The family would like to thank all who gave care and comfort during this journey, especially to Lutheran Hospice (Melinda and Loretta), caregivers: Rachelle, Lori Smith and family, also to Samaria Baptist Church family and the friends and family who visited during this time.
