He was preceded in death by his mother, Cora Jean Belcher Jones. He is survived by his children, Anna Marie Jones, Michael Jones, and Stephanie (Aaron) Adams; father, Mac Jones; sisters, Nita (Glenn) Odom and Melissa Wright; grandchildren, Christopher Lee Cochran Jr., Shelbie Adams, and Tucker Adams; nieces, Courtney Brenson and Ashley Smith; nephews, Charles Royster and Grahm Odom, and a special friend, Jeffrey Roper.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday February 7, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Blake officiating.
