Danny Wilson, age 73 of Winfield, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. Born in Scott County on August 11, 1945, he was the son of the late Genie Wilson and Mable Ryan Wilson. He was married to his lovely wife Eunice Wilson for 49½ years.

He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Winfield, Tennessee. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene Wilson, Jim Wilson, Gary Wilson and Donnie Wilson; sisters, Lucielle Morrow, Ellen Akinna and Glennis Wilson. He is survived by his wife, Eunice Wilson; son, Rick Wilson; daughter, Stacy Groce and husband Randy; grandchildren, Cory Wilson and wife Brandi, Todd Wilson, Bethany Groce and Blake Groce; great grandchildren, Caylen Harris, Praylee Harris and Christa Harris; great, great grandchild MaRaelen Hicks; and special friend Charley Young.

Danny’s request was cremation. Friends may visit with the Wilson family on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 12 p.m. until time of memorial service at 1 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Robert (Mountain) Blankenship officiating.

Music will be provided by Mack and Rita Wright. West-Murley Funeral Home is serving the family of Danny Wilson.
