Mr. Danny Wyman Roth, 58, passed away Monday, May 13, 2019. Danny was born in Elberton, but lived most of his life in Oglethorpe County. He was the son of the late Charlie Lucre and Loudell Holloman Roth.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Aubrey Roth. Danny worked as a quarryman in the Millstone Granite Quarry. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Leisa and Calvin Weaver of Crawford; brothers, Gary Roth of Bogart and Steve Roth of Carlton; sister-in-law, Joyce Roth; grandsons, Will Weaver and Clark Weaver; uncle and aunts: Thomas and Gladys Roth, and Regina Merritt; nephew, Steven Roth; niece, Taylor Howard; great nephew, Steven Roth III; and many cousins.

A funeral service will be held in Vesta Baptist Church with Rev. Calvin Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with David Streetman, Shane Robertson, Darrell Roth, Randy Smith, Mickey Weaver, Pat Smith, Danny Teasley, Steven Roth, III, and Evan Holloman serving as pallbearers.

A day and time will be announced as soon as available. Flowers will be graciously accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Vesta Baptist Church Youth Group, 1074 Veribest Rd. , Carlton, Ga.
