OBITUARY Darlene Elliott Dimick Darlene Ellliott Dimick, 79, passed away on Thursday November 29, 2018 at the assisted living center she lived for the past 11 months. She was born February 10, 1939 to Clawson Spicer Elliott and Elva Hunsaker Elliott in Farmington, Utah. Darlene is survived by her Husband Larry D. Dimick and her children: Brenda (Bob) Simpson, Doug (Rakeyl) Gilley, Brent (Linda) Gilley, Bruce (Jacoy) Jones.

Her Siblings: Betty (Rex) Smuin, Sheryl (Ivan) Sadlier and her brother-in-law Jay Wall, daughter-in-law Patricia Gilley, 23 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Jay Robinson, Ray Gilley (divorced), Jack Jones (divorced) children: Ray Eugene Gilley, Raelene Peterson, Scott Gilley and son-in-law Calvin Peterson, grandson Christopher Gilley, along with her siblings Karma (Keith) Smuin, Ferris (Nola) Elliott, LaDon (Leda) Elliott, LaVona Elliott and Carol Wall. Darlene lived in Vernal for over 25 years and was the first female correctional officer at the Uintah County Jail.

Darlene moved to Salt Lake for a time and opened Old House Ceramics and Dolls. She loved Cooking and Quilting when she had the time. She loved animals especially horses.

She loved her family very much and loved camping with the whole family 100 plus at our family reunions. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 7, 2018 at 4:00PM at the Maeser Stake Center (2745 West 1000 North). A viewing for family and friends will be held Friday 2:30-3:45PM at the Church.

Interment will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 12 Noon at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (3401 South Highland Drive in Salt Lake City). Online condolences may be shared at www.
