Darlene Newman, age 77, passed away on the morning of Tuesday March 5, 2019. She was raised in Toledo, Ohio. Darlene loved to travel all over Michigan and especially loved visiting all the beaches and lighthouses.

As many of you know, Darlene was an Elvis fan for as long as we all can remember. Darlene leaves behind her four children, Tamela (Steven) Andersen, Cheryl (Jearl) Wood-Coates, Sandra (Terry DeVol) Kinzel, and Dale (Cindy) Kinzel. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Bill, Ann, Jimmy, Bobby, and Beth Ann and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she loved very much.

She also leaves behind her 12 year old dog, a Jack Russell named “Doc” who remains with family. Darlene was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Lillian Kinzel, and her brother Charles Schaefer. The family will receive guests on Friday, March 8th, 2019 from 10am – 2pm at Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main Street in Sylvania, Ohio, 43560.

The funeral service for family and close friends will also be held at Reeb Funeral Home at 2:30pm the same day. Interment will immediately follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Online condolences at www.
