Darnell Tinker was born August 17, 1957 to Luevenia (Cook) Storry and William TInker, Jr. in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He departed this life on Thursday, November 22, 2018 after an extended illness. Darnell attended Fort Wayne Community Schools.

He received an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice and worked as an entrepreneur most of his life. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Jonathan Brownlee, Jor-el Jordon and Darnella Roberts; three grandchildren; brothers, Henry Hill of Fort Wayne, Robert “Bobby” (Kathy) Bright, Jr. of Southern Indiana and W.C. (Belinda) Storry of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Lenora (Ulimwengu) Okera, Vanessa (Kerry) Collins, Cynthia Bright all of Fort Wayne, IN and Nicole (Roy) Clement of Bowling Green, KY; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Luevenia Storry; father, William Tinker, Jr.; paternal grandparents, William and Mary Tinker, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Nathaniel Cook, Emma and Royster Walker; nephews, LaShon C. DeVreax and Robert Bright III.
