Obituary for Darrell F Hotelling Darrell F. Hotelling age 87 of Upper Sandusky died Sat. May 12, 2018 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital. He was born August 31, 1930 in Pitt Twp.
Wyandot County to the late Grover L. & Bessie Z. (Lawrence) Hotelling. He married Florence E. Ecker on July 10, 1960 and she preceded him in death. He is survived by 3 sons Luther Hotelling, Upper Sandusky, Jonathan (Patricia) Hotelling, Forest, Matthew (Monica) Hotelling, Grapevine, TX, grandchild Wyatt Hotelling, Grapevine, TX, 3 step grandchildren Alecia (Brennan) Howe, Jake Daughenbaugh, Jesse Daughenbaugh, step great grandaughter Gracilyn Roepke, Godson Scott (Rhonda) Shifflet and their 4 children.
He was preceded in death by 6 brothers Glenn, Charles, Dwight, Wayne, Paul Sr., Roger and a sister Dorothy Leightey. Mr. Hotelling was a member of Wharton Church of God. Darrell graduated from Upper Sandusky High School class of 1949.
Since 1970, he was the owner/operator of ABC Carpet, where he retired in 2009. Prior to that, he worked at the former Blue Furniture Store. Mr. Hotelling enjoyed mowing the yard, gardening, playing dominoes, completing jig saw puzzles, genealogy, and was an avid Browns, OSU, Reds, and Upper Ram fan.
A funeral will be held Thurs. May 17, 2018 at 10:30 AM in Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Joseph Boehler and Jake Reel officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Wednesday May 16, 2018 4pm-7pm in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Wharton Church of God or charity of the donor’s choice in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
