Obituary for Darrell R. (Dick) Squires Lt Col USAF (ret) Darrell R. (Dick) Squires entered eternal rest on May 17th, 2018 after an extended illness. Dick as he preferred to be called, served his country as an Air Force Medical Service Corps Officer and Personnel Officer for 32 years. During that time he was stationed across the US and served two tours overseas.

He also traveled extensively as a Medical Service Inspector. Dick was born in Lanesboro, Pa. on May 4, 1932, he was preceded in death by his father David Squires and his mother Cecelia McGrade Squires.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Carmeline Squires, his sister Sharon Cuddihe and three nephews: Tom Pasternak, Joe Pasternak, and Craig McGahan. A memorial graveside service will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 1:45 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of your choice.
