Darryl’s Obituary Darryl James Butler, age 53, of Alpharetta, died Sunday, February 3, 2019. He was born in Decatur, Georgia to the late Roland Butler and Shirley Elaine Sampley. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Audrey Evelyn Butler.

Mr. Butler is survived by Penny Moseley Butler and his sons, Greyson James Butler and Hayden Troy Butler; siblings, Gerald Wayne (Kathy) Butler, David Michael (Monice) Butler, Glen Milton (Anita) Butler, Donna Elaine Butler and Mark Allen (Melanie) Butler; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral Services will be held at Zion Baptist Church in Covington, GA on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 1:00 PM with Dr. Lane Collins and Dr. Tim Dowdy officiating. Interment will follow at Moseley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home and Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association, 1200 Hosford Street, Suite 101 Hudson, WI 54016. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at ww.
