Fox, 94, of Fayette, Iowa died Sunday morning, February 24, 2019 at Gundersen Palmer Lutheran Hospital in West Union, Iowa. Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M. Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the Wadena Community Church in Wadena, Iowa. Visitation: 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the church and for one hour before the service at the church on Thursday.

Interment: Wadena Cemetery, Wadena. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Palmer Hospice or to the family for planting new tree seedlings. The Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Arlington, Iowa is assisting the family.

Daryle served in the United States Army during World War II. On August 4, 1953, he was united in marriage to Mildred F. Bushby at Wadena. Daryle farmed in the Wadena area all his life and was member of the Wadena Community Church.

Daryle enjoyed woodworking, fishing, turkey hunting and cutting firewood. Daryle is survived by his 2 sons: Jim (Crystal) Fox of Carter Lake and Gary (Barb) Fox of Wadena; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife on November 5, 1992; and 2 grandchildren: Jeanne Africa and Daniel Aylsworth.
