Obituary for “Dave” Allan David Bauer Bauer, “Dave” Allan David, 85, passed away June 15, 2018. He is survived by his loving family, children: Janis (Howard) Kiedaisch of Beecher, James Bauer of Veedersburg, IN, Elizabeth Bauer of Yorkville, IL, and Allen (Lisa) Bauer of, PA; grandchildren: Jason Kiedaisch and Traci (Joshua) Peterson, Jeffrie (Michelle) Bauer and Jamie (Anna) Bauer, the late Julie Bauer; Julie Bauer and the late Justin Bauer; great-grandchildren: Lucas James Bauer, Claire Audrey Bauer, Izabella Bauer, Jacob Bauer; siblings: Norma (late Jim) Nelson of Paris, late Bob (Joan) Bauer of Paris, Dennis (Dottie) Bauer of Frankfort and sister-in-law Jacquelyn (late Sam) Maciareillo of Chicago Heights. He was preceded in death by his wife Audreyann Bauer nee Weiss, in 2015.

Born to Arnold (Emmy) Bauer and Wanda nee Manson, he was raised in Chicago Heights. He graduated BTHS in 1951 and married Audreyann, May 21, 1955. A partner in Arnie Bauer Cadillac for 50 years, the Bauers retired to Paris, IL in 2003, where he was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and longtime member of Chicago Heights Lions Club.

Visitation will be held on Mon. , June 18 from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way in Frankfort, IL and on Tues. , June 19 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. St. Paul’s Ev.

Lutheran Church, 330 Highland Dr., Chicago Heights. Committal following at St. Paul Cemetery in Flossmoor, IL. Memorials may be directed to Grace Lutheran Church in Paris.
