DEFOREST, Wis. /CLINTON, Iowa- Dave Butler, age 51, of DeForest, Wis. , passed away on Monday, Oct.

15, 2018. He was born on Dec. 14, 1966, in Detroit, Mich.

, the son of John and Gail Butler. Dave graduated from Clinton High School in 1985, and the University of Iowa in 1991, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He was employed at North American Mechanical Inc, as Assistant Manager of the Distribution Department for the past 14 years.

Dave is survived by his father, John; sister,… Read More » Elizabeth (Chuck) Clute of Snellville, Ga; brother, Steve (Caralyn) Butler of Park View, Iowa; nieces and nephews, Charlie (Lydia) Clute of Greenville, S.C., Jonathan Clute and Christopher Clute of Snellville, Ga. , Thomas Butler of Lawrence Kan. , and Hannah Butler of Cedar Falls, Iowa; and great nieces, Bethany and Ivy Clute of Greenville, S.C.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gail in 2012. A gathering in celebration of Dave’s life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 19, 2018.

Burial will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Greene, Iowa. Dave’s family would like to thank all of his many friends, neighbors, and coworkers who provided such wonderful care and support over the last few weeks. Memorials may be gifted in Dave’s name to American Cancer Society https://donate3.
