AUSTIN, DAVID A., 58, of North Kingstown, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on May 6, 2019. He was the loving husband of Tracy (Matteson) Austin for the past 33 years. Born in Warwick to the late Wilbur S. and Muriel R. (Briggs) Austin.

David was a loving father to his two daughters Amanda O’Quinn and her husband Aaron and Samantha and her partner Andrew Hanrahan. He was an amazing poppa to his three grandsons Patrick Heath, Aaron O’Quinn, Jr. and Liam O’Quinn. He is also survived by two sisters Maureen Rose Austin and Cathy Ann Matteson, and two brothers Michael Briggs Austin and Wayne Steven Austin.

He was predeceased by one sister Sandra Jean Stephens and three brothers Randall Stanley Austin, Robert Michael Austin and William Ray Austin. Visitation will be held Thursday evening, May 9, 2019 from 4-7 pm in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte. 117), Coventry.

A Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, May 10, 2019 at 10 am in SS. John and Paul Church, Coventry. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in David’s name to SS. John and Paul Church, 341 South Main Street, Coventry, RI 02816.
