David A. Gibbs was born August 2, 1949 in Marshall, Arkansas and passed away on December 20, 2018. He was the only child of Ulis and Dorothy Gibbs. He lived in several different states as the son of a U.S. Coast Guardsman, finally settling in Pinellas Park, Florida where he graduated from Northeast High School in 1967.

David was married to Marsha Gibbs for 31 years and is preceded in death by their daughter, Alana; his parents and faithful dog Casey. He is survived by several cousins in Arkansas and an aunt Louise and cousins in Tacoma, Washington. His interests were, restoring antique and classic automobiles.

He and his dad restored a 1954 Ford pickup and he restored a 1951 military jeep. His professional skills were in construction and he owned a business as a Finish Carpenter. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks where he enjoyed serving on their media team for several years.
