David Allen Jr. 85, of Midwest City, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on September 6, 2018. He was born April 14th, 1933 in Muldrow Oklahoma. He served in the Army during the Korean War until he was honorably discharged to continue his education at OSU on the GI Bill.

He received his masters at OU. He continued his Civil service at Tinker Air Force Base until he retired in 1988. He was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters, his first wife and eldest daughter.

He is survived by his… Read More » wife Ruby Allen, daughter, Brenda Cook, two grandchildren, Jeff Cook and Lauren Reed and two great grandchildren. Viewing will take place Monday, September 10th 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Tuesday September 11th from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday September 12, 2018 at Soldier Creek Baptist Church in Midwest City at 10:30 am.

Graveside services with interment will be at Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow Oklahoma at 3:30 pm. Special thanks to all who were involved in David’s care allowing him a peaceful death in his home.
