David C. Angell, 54, of Union Valley, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 19, 2018, at his home. David was born in Cortland, NY, on January 11, 1964, the son of the late Stuart and Ruth Bush Angell. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing and was especially fond of his three Rottweilers.

He is survived by his brothers, Floyd (Judy) Angell of DeRuyter, Stuart (Priscilla) Angell, Gary (Marjorie) Angell of McDonough, and Bradley Angell of South Otselic; his sisters, Doris (Donald) Stith of Eaton, Virginia (Oscar) Bartholomew of Pitcher, Nancy Hendrie of South Carolina, Ruthann (William) Aldrich of Cuyler, Bonnie Merchant of Cortland, Sherry (Tim) Hammond of Homer, Kathy (David) McCracken of Truxton, Connie (Spencer) Angell-Lincoln of Cincinnatus, Shelby (Steven) George of Otisco, and Mary Sutton of Homer. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Wendell Angell.

A graveside service will be held at Union Valley Cemetery at a later date and time to be announced.
