COWDEN, DAVID M. Age 89, passed peacefully in his Ingram home, surrounded by family on Saturday, March 2, 2019. Beloved husband of Mary (Zablocki) Cowden; father of Jean (Gary) Stevens, Michael Cowden, and the late Mary Anne Lewis; dear grandfather of Lou, Mike, Kelly, John, and Joe; also 11 great-grandchildren; brother of Ed and the late Tom and Walter Cowden, Dorothy Richey, Rachel Hill, Jane Ott and Laura Weaver; also survived by many nieces and nephews. David was a Marine Corps Veteran during the Korean War and a former employee and driver for Kaufmann’s and Brownberry Bakery and later Liquid Carbonics.

Visitation WEDNESDAY ONLY 2-6 p.m. at the SCHEPNER – McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 165 Noble Ave. , Crafton.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday at 10 a.m. in Ascension Church Worship Site of St. Philip Parish. Burial will be with full military honors in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Burgettstown 15021. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of David M. Cowden please visit our Sympathy Store.
