David Edward Shaffer of Groveport Ohio died Saturday, March 2, 2019 in the Kobacker House after a short brave battle with pancreatic cancer. Born October 25, 1959 to Rosellen M. Shaffer and Melvin F. Shaffer Sr. David was a wonderful father and grandfather. David is survived by his daughter, Roseellen Bush and her husband, Anthony Bush Sr.; grandchildren, Anthony Bush Jr. and Kinsley Bush; sister, Ida Huffman and her family; nephew, Roger Easton and his wife, Stacy Eaton, their children, Kristen Eaton, Brooklyn Eaton and CJ Bustetter; many other family members.

Preceded in death by his mother, Rosellen M. Shaffer and his father, Melvin F. Shaffer Sr.; his sisters, Lena Woodyard, Sharon Snyder and Melvina Guisinger. Per Donald’s wishes there will be no viewing or funeral service. Arrangements are being handled by the Myers-Woodyard Funeral Home in Groveport.
