David Eugene Hussey, 77, of Randleman, died Monday, May 6, 2019 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. Funeral Services, 2 PM, Friday, May 10, 2019, at Riverside Baptist Church, Seagrove. Officiating, Rev.

Gerald Hussey. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. David was a native of Randolph County, attended Bennett High School and was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church.

He worked in the furniture industry most of his life and retired from J and P Furniture. He loved being outside and working with his chickens and swapping stories with his friends. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Jewelene Garner Hussey, his parents, Marvin and Arlene Maness Hussey.

Survivors: daughter, Sheila Smith, of Randleman, sons, Randy Hussey, and wife, Monta, of Randleman, Danny Hussey, and wife, Lois, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Amy McKee and husband, Nick, of Randleman, Jason Hussey, and wife, Danielle, of Randleman, Ashley Engle, and husband, Bradley, of Randleman, Amber Hussey, of Farmer, Mya Taylor, of Asheboro, eight great-grandchildren. Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Thursday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence of Randy and Monta Hussey, 5329 Old Walker Mill Rd. , Randleman.
