OBITUARY David Frederick Anderson December 5, 1942 – December 3, 2018 COLUMBIA – A graveside service for David Frederick Anderson, 75, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Elmwood Chapel. Mr. Anderson was born December 5, 1942 in Columbia, SC, and passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018.

He was a son of the late Elizabeth Jane Wysc and Edward Lee Anderson. Mr. Anderson was an Eagle Scout, and he delivered papers for The State newspaper. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1969 – 1978, during the Vietnam War.

From 1999 – 2016 he worked at Columbia’s Cleaners. Mr. Anderson is survived by his sister, Libba Anderson, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Jeanne Derrick and brother, James “Jimmy” Anderson.
