David M. Gonzales, 64, of 159 Maplewood Dr. Franklin, PA. , passed away at his residence at 11:00 A.M. Friday March 22, 2019 after an extended illness. Born July 17, 1954 in Oil City, PA.

, he was the son of Colleen Phillips Gonzales and the late Paul J. Gonzales. He attended Oil City & Rocky Grove Schools. Dave had previously worked at Foster Forbes and at Polk Center until becoming disabled.

He was married in 1982 to the former Bernadine R. Strong and she survives. They had recently celebrated their 37th anniversary. He was a devoted grandpa, father, son and uncle.

Dave enjoyed working on automobiles, fishing, hunting and cooking but most of all he enjoyed being surrounded by his family. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by five children Danny & Mandy Strong Theresa Strong & companion Rich Whitling Nathan, Torry & Travis Gonzales. His grandchildren.

Cameron, Grayson, Dylon, Tyler, DJ, Joseph and CJ Two brothers Juan Gonzales of Oil City Greg Gonzales of Oil City a sister Lisa Gonzales of Reno and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Timothy P. Gonzales and by a sister Denise A. Gonzales and a sister-in-law Kathleen Gonzales. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Memorials may be made in care of the Reinsel Funeral Home, 116 Bissell Ave. Oil City,PA. 16301 to help the family defray funeral expenses.
