Obituary for David Guinn James David Guinn age 69 of Graysville died at his home Saturday morning, December 29, 2018. He was born in Cleveland on December 8, 1949. He was a 1972 graduate of UTC earning his Bachelor of Science degree.

He was a longtime resident of Chattanooga until moving to Graysville 20 years ago. David retired from Kmart in Hixson after 20 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading, gem mining and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Denise (Mayhew) Guinn, six daughters, Dava (Clint) Stiles of Hixson, Lori (Jay) Benefield of Hixson, Carrie (Rickey) Pruitt of Soddy-Daisy, Becky (Buddy) White of Dayton, Debbie (Robert) Powell of Soddy-Daisy, Melanie (Lucas) Maynard of Dayton; his parents, J.W. and Edna (Herron) Guinn of Hixson and his 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Anderson Guinn. Funeral services for David will be held Wednesday afternoon, January 2, 2019 at 5:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
