DAVID L. JONES, age 62 of Troy, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019 at 4:17 PM at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit. He was born on August 14, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late George and Dorothy (Spurling) Jones. He is survived by three children, Michelle Oakley, Jessica Conover, and Daniel Jones all of Indian Lake, two sisters, Phyllis (Jerry) Farmer of Dayton, and Vicki (James) Alexander of Sidney, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Jones, and one sister, Sharon Philpot. David loved fishing and NASCAR. He worked a lot on race cars and also loved to go to Shady Bowl.

In keeping with Mr. Jones’ wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. His final Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney. Condolences may be expressed to the Jones family at the funeral home’s website, www.
