OBITUARY David Lee Smith August 3, 1938 – December 6, 2018 Mr. David Lee Smith, 80, of Soddy Daisy, passed away at home on Thursday, December 6, 2018. David was a retired iron worker. He was born in Knoxville, TN on August 3, 1938.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting and had a single engine pilots license. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Edith Smith and his wife of 29 years, Estelle Smith. Survivors include his wife, Treva Diane Smith; daughter, Sandy Jung (Gene); daughter, Sharon Finney; Ronda Gentry (Scott); stepson, Terry King (Shannon); Stepdaughter, Kim Green (Jeremy); stepson, Dub King; grandchildren, Joshua, Leslie, Chad, Travis, Morgan, Landon, Donnie, Tyler, Autumn, Chase, Gage, and Bailey; 13 great grandchildren; brother, Billy Ray Smith (Christine); and many nephews and nieces.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 9th from 12:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 4:00 P.M. with Pastor Tim Muncey officiating. The family will have a private burial service.
