David was the beloved husband of Maria Volkmann; Loving father of Amanda (Barry) Cope and the late Christian Volkmann; Cherished grandpa of Parker and Logan Cope; Fond cousin of Cindy and Scott Grau; David was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Marie Volkmann and his brother Bruce Volkmann. Memorial Service to be announced In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Des Plaines.
