Obituary for David Michael Rush, Sr. Print David Michael Rush, Sr. age 77 of Dickinson, AL died February 12, 2019 at his home. He was born February 3, 1942 in Thomasville, AL to Clyde and Essie Rush. He was a retired millwright from Scotch Plywood Company.
He was a member of Dickinson Baptist Church and a US Army veteran. He is survived by his two sons, Michael Rush and Keith Rush; daughter, Charlotte Maynard; sister, Evon Wiggins; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Essie Rush; and a brother, Bobby Rush.
Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Graveside funeral services will be held at Choctaw Corner Cemetery on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 2:00 pm with Rev. James Parnell officiating.
