Obituary for David Oscar Morton David Oscar Morton, 71, widower of Barbara Sue Morton, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at his home. He was born February 8, 1947 in Powell County, Kentucky to the late James and Lori Elkins Morton. Survivors include, daughters, Lynn Diamond and Della Maloney; grandchildren, Jessica Corey, Brittany Tolson, Haley Maloney, and Hannah Ashley; great-grandchildren, Daylan Lowry, Hayden Moore, Lucas Tolson, Brantley Carroll, and Carson Powell; brothers, Harvey Morton, Bobby Morton, Jerry Morton, and Junior Morton; and sisters, Mildred Banks, Kathleen “Kitty” Banks, Nettie Banks, and Marie Hughes; and special friends and caregiver, Lula Thomas, Rhonda and Earl Ratliff, Tashia Thomas, Alexis Clem, Buddy Clemmons, and Matt Moore.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lori Morton; wife, Barbara Sue Morton, daughter, Teresa Morton; great-grandson, Jace David Tolson; son-in-law, Kevin Maloney; and brother, Alfred Beacher Morton. Services Tuesday, July 24, 2:00PM Davis & Davis Funeral Home by Anthony Molihan. Visitation Tuesday after 1:00PM.

Burial in Resthaven Cemetery, Stanton with Charlie Tolson, Cecil Diamond, Austin Corey, Jerry Morton, Matt Moore, Danny Elkins, Ralph Harrison, Tony Morton, and Robbie Horn.
