Obituary for Mr. David Silas Ling David Silas Ling, 82, of Roseville, passed away on April 25, 2018 in his home after a long illness with his family by his side. He was born on December 26, 1935 in Port Huron, son of the late Norman and Ellen Ling. David married Laura E. Patrick on February 6, 1954 in Angola, Indiana.

He served honorably in the United States Air Force for almost ten years. David retired from Chrysler after 31 years. He was a member of the Eagles, Elks, Moose Lodge and American Legion.

David is survived by his wife, Laura Ling of Roseville; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth (Donna) Ling of Chesterfield Twp. ; son, Ronald Ling of Lexington Heights; grandchildren: Jennifer, Kelli, Shannon, Ryan, Andrew, Brenden, Jason, Fred and Donald; two great-granddaughters; brother and sister-in-law, Fred (Jodie) Ling of Sarasota, Florida and a sister, Judith and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, David Ling.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday in the Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Ave. , Port Huron. The Rev.

Max Amstutz will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.

Memorial tributes may be made to the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard. The St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard will conduct Military honors. To view obituary and share memories visit www.
