David Thomas Ditzel, 73 of Vero Beach, passed away on February 10, 2019 at Indian river Medical Center. He was born in Plainfield, New Jersey on September 6, 1945. Survivors include his loving wife, Carol A. Ditzel; daughters, Melissa Milauskas of Kentucky and Cindy Petersen of Wisconsin; grandchildren, Jessica Petersen Grace, Andrew Petersen, Olivia Harris, Sophia Harris, and Abby Douglas; 1 great granddaughter, Harper Rose Grace; sister, Laraine Kowaleski; sister in law, Peggy (William) Rivera; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mae Ditzel and a brother, John Ditzel Jr. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM, Friday, January 15, 2019 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 PM.
