David W. Geever, 75, of Southborough and Hebron, NH, died on July 7, 2018 peacefully at his home in Hebron, New Hampshire after a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Deborah (Newman) Geever for the past 48 years. David was a US army veteran serving in Vietnam.

In 1963 he joined the Sheet Metal Union, Local 17 and worked for 39 years in the industry, retiring in 2002 from Worcester Air of Ashland. David was an avid sport pilot and took pride in his 1960 classic Chris Craft boat. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, snowmobiles and skiing.

David also enjoyed being a mentor and father figure to many. In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Desautels and her fiancé, Philip Ferrecchia of Marlborough; Amey Geever and Devon Geever, both of Southborough; 2 grandchildren, Julia Desautels and Michael Ferrecchia; a sister, Dorothy Torsey of FL; his brother in laws, Brad Newman and his wife Bonnie of Northborough; Scott Newman and his wife Mindy of SC; and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 13, from 4 to 7 pm at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 14, at 9 am at St Matthew Church, 26 Highland Street, Southborough. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in his memory to Brigham and Women’s Heart and Vascular Center, 116 Huntington, Ave, Boston, MA 02116.
