David’s Obituary David Warner McClendon, a long-time resident of Fayetteville, GA, passed away on 12/08/2018 at the age of 74, after a battle of several years with COPD. Born to the late William Warner McClendon and Eula Bernice McClendon (maiden name “Greene”) on September 20, 1944 in Charlotte, NC, David was one of three sons. Like many other dedicated Americans, David served in the US Army in Vietnam.

Later he found his niche in the tile business, and used his talent to complete many, many tile jobs, particularly in the Southern suburbs of Atlanta. Hobby wise, David enjoyed woodworking, anything involving automobiles, and keeping company with his Labrador Retrievers. David Warner McClendon will be greatly missed in this earthly life by his beloved Abbie and others, as he has gone to be with his Lord.

He requested that his send-off be kept simple and without a service, so in line with his wishes, the arrangements are being handled by Thomas L Scroggs Funeral Home in Morrow, GA.
