David W. “Dave” Powell, 59, of Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, as a result of an auto accident in Wood County, Ohio. He was born on February 17, 1960, in Toledo Ohio, and is survived by his son, Zackary Powell of Columbus; daughter, Britnee Powell of Boulder, CO; and siblings, Mark, Robert Lyle, Kathy and Claudia. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, David L. Powell; and brother, Rick.

His funeral service will be at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Chaplain Tracy Elder officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 5:30 P.M. until the time of the Service on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
