Obituary for David M. Wingblad DAVID M. WINGBLAD, age 71 of Port Hope, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018 at his home. He was born in Highland Park on January 27, 1947 to the late Arnold and Marilyn (Writeman) Wingblad. He was married to Jean MacLeod on October 25, 1969 in Detroit.

David served in the US Army from 1970-1972. David retired from Genessee County ISD in 2005. He enjoyed racquetball, gardening and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife Jean Wingblad of Port Hope, children: Lainya (Bernard) Hohn of Burton, Roderick (Dana) Wingblad of Troy, grandchildren: Fiona, Lilly, Alexander, and sister Shelly (William) Lamb of Highland Park. Cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory of Bay City. A gathering of friends of family will take place at a later date.
