Obituary for DAVIN JAMES VALENCIA Davin James Valencia, 13, of Ooltewah, TN passed away on September 8, 2018. He was born on January 13, 2005 in Tuscaloosa, AL to Anthony and Cristina Valencia. Davin has lived in Chattanooga for the past four years, after moving here from Alabama.

He was a very sweet, kind, and honest boy who never met a stranger. He loved space and science technology, as well as playing video games. He is preceded in death by his aunt, Ruth Jeanine Miller.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents Anthony and Cristina Valencia; grandparents Michael and Beverly Dyer, George Valencia, and Darlene Walls; great grandmother Ruth Mason; brothers Ayden Valencia and Austin Matthews; sisters Audry Valencia and Chelsey Valencia; aunt Kim Cook and very special cousins Marlee Bush, Maci Battles, Ricki Smith, Wil Miller, and Cole Miller. In addition to these, Davin leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 6:00pm on Thursday September 13, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Harrision Bay Ward located at 3067 Ooltewah Ringgold Road, Ooltewah, TN 37363.

A service will follow the visitation at 6:00pm at the church. Another visitation will be on Friday September 14, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Bessemer, Al. 831 Briarwood Drive Interment will take place at Kinard Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. in West Blocton, Alabama.
