(Hess) Pozoic, of New Orleans, LA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the age of 66. Dawn was born to the late George C. and Ruth A. (Snyder) Hess on October 19, 1952 in Harrisburg. She was the widow of the late George A. Pozoic of Harrisburg Dawn was a terrific mother and grandmother, who enjoyed all aspects of life.

Known by many as a “feeder” she could always be found working around food, enjoying different cuisines or proudly feeding those she loved. To know her was to love her, always. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle L. Achey of Hummelstown; two grandchildren, Julia E. Achey of New Orleans, LA and Jacob D. Achey of Palmyra; a sister, Debi Kint of Harrisburg; a brother, Bill Hess of Halifax; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory in Hershey on Thursday, April 18, 2019 with visitation beginning at 2pm and memorial service to follow at 3:00pm.
