Dawna Rae Johnson, a dedicated spouse, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on December 14, 2018, at her home at the age of 72 years. The daughter of the late Ray Lore and Lora Irving Lore, Dawna was born on September 3, 1946 in Gooding, Idaho. She came to the Stillwater community as a small child and was raised and educated in Stillwater.

She was united in marriage to Jack Hancock on October 5, 1963 and to this union four children, Terry, LaDawn, Keith and Shawn were… Read More » born. She was united in marriage to Cleo Johnson in 1997, and she gained a son Jon and a daughter Laura. Cleo preceded her in death on July 6, 2014.

Dawna for many years was the secretary for C & S Plumbing and then for several years worked at the Perkins Drug Store prior to her retirement. Her love was for her family; she loved her children, grandkids and great-grandkids. She enjoyed traveling and will be remembered for her generosity, always thinking of ways she could help or give to someone else, She is survived by her children, Terry Hancock and his wife Donna of Perkins, LaDawn Mueggenborg and her husband Bobby of Oklahoma City, Shawn Hancock and companion Myah Meberg of Perkins, Laura Johnson of Stillwater, and Jon Johnson of Cushing; 20 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband Cleo, she was preceded in death by one son Keith Hancock; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Olivet Cemetery in Perkins.

Memorial contributions may be given to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. , 38105. The family will greet friends on Wednesday evening, Dec.

19, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Floyd Family Center, east of the Funeral Home.
