Carlyle Dean Wall, age 81, passed away at his home surrounded by family in Santaquin, Utah on February 28, 2019. He was born October 12, 1937 in Santaquin to Carlyle Berzon and Lucille Parkin Wall. He married Eileen VanAusdal August 7, 1959 in Santaquin.

Dean served in the US Army. He worked as a blacksmith and a journeyman lineman for Utah Power and Light. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He enjoyed hunting with his kids and grandkids and spending time with his family camping at our Redneck Resort in Indianola. He loved attending events for his grandkids and never missed any through the years. He was a horseman and a team roper and talented welder.

Dean is survived by his wife of 59 years, Eileen; their children Rick (Karen) Karen Wall, Carla Wall Carter, all of Santaquin, Travis (Shaunalee) Wall, Goshen, Jared (Shelly) Wall, Santaquin; grandkids Shandy (Skylar) Burnside, Cagen (Lacie) Carter, Brandon Wall, Casha (Cody) Bettis, Trevor Wall, McKell (Travis) Morrill, Gunner Wall; four great- grandkids Brooklyn, Rylen, Cooper, and Kynlee; brothers Norman (Ann) Wall, Elwood (Sue) Wall; Sister Ruth (Paul) Francom; Sisters-in-law Myrlee, Ruth, and Juanita; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws Bert and Norma VanAusdal, and a sister Dorine Wall. A viewing will be held Monday, March 4th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Brown Family Mortuary, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin and again Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:30 am.

Graveside services will be Tuesday at 12:00 pm at the Santaquin City Cemetery.
