Deanna Fields Garrison , October 13, 1965 — October 31, 2018

Deanna Fields Garrison was taken from us too soon on October 31, 2018, at the age of 53. Born on October 13, 1965, Deanna graduated Berlin High School Class of 1983 and CPI of Hartford. Deanna worked for many years in the healthcare profession.

Deanna is survived by her loving husband and high school sweetheart: Scott P. Garrison, a son: Michael D. Garrison, a daughter: Kathryn “Katie” R. Garrison, her loving mother: Anne Renock Fields of Berlin, a brother: William Renock and his wife Claudette, of Bristol, a sister: Lori Renock Beaudoin and her husband James Butler, of Middletown, her mother and father-in-law: Peter and Jean Garrison of Kensington, 2 brothers-in-law: Peter Garrison and his wife Shari, of East Berlin and Sean Garrison of Kensington, as well as many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and special friends. She was predeceased by her father: Gary D. Fields, of Presque Isle, ME. Deanna was a member of St. Paul Parish in Kensington, where she was married in 1992.

Music was her greatest passion. She enjoyed a professional career as a lead vocalist, harmony singer and worked with several national Doo-wop vocal groups at local shows. She greatly enjoyed knitting for friends and family.

Friends may call at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Kensington, on Saturday, November 10, 2018, from 9:00 AM – 1100 AM. Burial will follow in Maple Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the “Deanna Garrison Memorial Fund” People’s United Bank, Attn: Cynthia Arthur Berlin Stop & Shop, 1135 Farmington Ave, Berlin, CT 06037 to benefit her children’s education fund.
