Deanne L. “Dee” Pincsak, age 76, of Rensselaer, passed away February 17, 2019 at Franciscan Health Rensselaer. Dee was born in Chicago on February 1, 1943, the daughter of George and Eleanore (Garrity) Marubio. Raised in Chicago, Dee graduated from Steinmetz High School and worked at Brody Seating of Chicago.

She enjoyed work as a restaurant manager and was employed at various fast food restaurants, retiring in 2007. On June 8, 1963, in Chicago, Dee married Eugene “Gene” Pincsak who survives. Also surviving is their loving daughter, Eileen Tracy Zitzka of Rensselaer, Indiana, two Yorkie’s, Sir Bentley and Zeus, a granddaughter, Jamie Steinbring of Plainfield, Illinois, a niece, Tamara Pincsak, two nephews, Jimmy Pincsak and Andrew Pincsak and two Goddaughters, Susan Hermann and Lisa Dankoski.

. Dee was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Rensselaer. An active church member, she enjoyed volunteering at vacation bible school and took great joy in crocheting hats, booties and blankets for newborn babies.

She was a former Girl Scout leader. Both she and her husband were members-at-large of the Route 66 Association of Illinois. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, February 23, 2019, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Jackson Funeral Chapel in Rensselaer.

Memorial services for Dee will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at the Jackson Funeral Chapel in Rensselaer with Fr. Don Davison officiating. Memorials are suggested in remembrance of Dee to the Jasper County Animal Shelter, 2430 W. Clark Street, Rensselaer, IN 47978.
