Born in the District of Columbia to James and Dorothy Dunn, she was a 1977 graduate of George Mason University. Debbie was a prominent teacher at Blue Ridge Middle School for 42 years, influencing generations of western Loudoun’s youth.

She treasured each day she spent in class with her students and was renowned for her gentle kindness as well as her gifted teaching style. In addition, Debbie was an iconic fixture in the local equestrian scene, serving regularly as a highly respected judge at horse shows. It was evident to all who knew her that the true joy of her life was the time she spent at The Tonka Farm with family, and particularly with her grandchildren Jaspur, Harper, and Lincoln.

She leaves her adoring husband of 41 years, Robert Mueller, daughter Tiffany, son Craig and his wife Dana, as well as three grandchildren. She is also survived by sister Jean Pettit, and nephew Roy Hall. She was predeceased by brother Carl Dunn, sister Peggy Latham, nephew Michael Latham, her mother Dorothy, and father James.

Debbie will be forever remembered and cherished by countless relatives, friends, and students. Memorial service to be announced at a later date.
