Obituary for Ms. Deborah Faye Williams-King Deborah Faye Williams-King, age 64 passed unexpectedly on March 11, 2018 at her home in Greenville NC. She was born on January 20, 1954 in Greenville, NC however spent some of her teen years in Paquama CA. She later returned to Greenville, NC and graduated from J.H. Rose High School.

Deborah attended Pitt Community College with interest in Early Childhood Development. She spent over the last 30 years as a Child Care provider where she enjoyed providing in-home childcare services to children of all ages and disabilities. Deborah was a beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend.

She loved working with children and understood the importance of providing a nurturing, safe and educational environment for those she kept. Her passion was to ensure the children were equipped with the necessary educational tools to be ready upon starting kindergarten. Deborah, often called “Dee Dee” was known for her gregarious personality and giving spirit and always made you laugh when in her presence.

She was loyal to her family and friends and would give of her last to ensure someone else was taken care of. Deborah had many past time hobbies, however she was especially excited about attending Sunday church services at Victory Dominion World Outreach Center with her brother “Taye” and sister-in-law “Punchie”. The Sunday dinners they often shared will always be remembered.

Deborah in her spare time you could find her watching movies on DVD, VCR, Lifetime and Netflix as that was her past time favorite. She also enjoyed her daily phone conversations with her daughter/family and friends. Deborah enjoyed the times often spent with her girlfriends exploring different restaurants, shopping at Walmart, Belk and traveling with her daughter.

Deborah never met a stranger. Her charismatic and magnetic personality would always draw people to her. She also had a passion of working with the elderly and would often take the ones she spent time with snacks and presents during the holiday season.

Deborah is preceded in death by her mother, Bettie M. Williams-Stewart; stepfather, William H. Stewart; husband, Lloyd E. King. Deborah leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving daughter, Pamela D. Williams of Durham NC; brother, Monte’ Williams (Cynthia) of Greenville NC; uncle, Curtis Williams (Hattie) of Greenville NC; special niece, Yolanda Williams- Redden (Matt) of Greenville NC ; special nephew, Reginald Williams, Jr., of Greenville NC; god-son, Edward Paul Williams of Greenville NC; three great-nephews, Noah, Mayson and Nyles Redden of Greenville NC; Morgan and Spencer Tingen of Winterville, NC and Perdecia Joyner all of whom she often thought of like her own, a host of nieces, relatives and devoted friends. It is by God’s Grace that she left this world unexpectedly, but her spirit, love and gift of helping has touched so many.
