Deborah’s Obituary Deborah L. “Debbie” (Poor) Vukson, 71, of Freedom, PA, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019. She was born March 1, 1947, in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late John R. and Margaret Elizabeth “Betty” (Rigby) Poor. In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Vukson; sister-in-law, Winifred Poor and her nephew, Michael Poor.

Debbie was a member of the New Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Freedom, PA. She enjoyed gardening, home improvements, and always maintained a meticulous home. Debbie loved dogs and has rescued several throughout her life.

She was a kindhearted and loving person whom was always looking out for others. She was also a caretaker for her mother and several neighbors and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Barry Poor and his wife Bessie, of Seabrook, TX; her step-children, Stephen Vukson and Raymond Vukson and his wife, Wendi; step-grandchildren, Alyssa, Benjamin, Isabella, and Nathaniel; step-great grandson, Micah; her niece, Michele Kelly and her husband, Russell Brown, of Sidney, Australia; and great nieces, Kirsten and Heather.

Friends will be received in the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Inc. 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw, PA.

, for a Memorial Service, on Tuesday, January 22, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Martin Galbraith Officiating. Entombment will be held in Mt. Royal Cemetery, Temple of All Faiths Mausoleum.

In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the New Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 2nd Ave. , Freedom, PA 15042. Written tributes and memorials are welcomed and encouraged at www.
