Gilbert- Funeral services for Deborah Shealy Sox, 68, will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2018 at Cedar Grove Lutheran Church with the Rev. Joe Woodward and Chaplain Steve Arcee officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cedar Grove Lutheran Church Music Program. Mrs. Sox passed away at her home on Friday, November 30, 2018.

Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of Rufus Benson and Annie Amick Shealy. She was employed as a legal administrative assistant for AgFirst for 40 years, a member of Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, WELCA and a member of the choir. She was a member and program director of Hollow Creek Community Club.

Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Sox; son, Richard Corley, Jr.; daughter, Angie Bianco (Mike); step-daughters, Christie Walker (Keith) and Marlo Watkins (Jerry); grandchildren, Laiken and Dustin Corley, Walter and Hanna Bianco; step-grandchildren, Eric, Kirsten and Emily Walker, and Cole and Elise Roberson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sox was predeceased by her brother, Daniel H. Shealy.
