Deborah Thomas, 60 of Salem passed away at her home in Salem on May 3, 2019 surrounded by her family and friends. Deborah was born on July 8, 1958 in Salem, Ohio to Ken Thomas and the late Charlotte (Driver) Thomas. She worked at Salem Community Hospital as a secretary.

She enjoyed traveling especially to Amish Country and she attended Salem Wesleyan Methodist Church. Deborah is survived by her father Ken Thomas; a sister-in-law Marilyn Thomas; nephew Richard A. (Melanie) Thomas and Ken A. (Judy) Thomas; a niece Bethany (Tom) Eckert; 8 great nieces and nephews and 3 great-great nephews. Besides her mother she was preceded in death by a brother Richard Thomas.

A funeral service will be held at Salem Wesleyan Methodist Church on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Stanley Grabhill officiating. Friends will be received on Monday, May 6, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the church and the hour prior to the service on Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
