Debra D. Copeland December 13, 1952 – March 10, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Debra D. Copeland, 66, of Tamaroa, passed away at 1:20 P.M., Sunday, March 10, 2019 at her residence. Debra had been a truck driver. She enjoyed antiquing, crafting and quilting.

She also loved to cook. Debra was an avid gardener and supporter of the Humane Society. She was born December 13, 1952 at San Jose, CA, the daughter of Joe Aguiar and Hilda (Cates) Fortino.

Debra was raised in Santa Cruz, CA and then moved to Tamaroa in the late 1990’s. She is survived by her partner – Holly Nippe of Tamaroa, daughter – Wendy Freitas-Brown of California, grandson – Taylor Brown of California, granddaughter – Leah Brown of California, and sisters – Pat Piethe of California and Sue Foshee of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter in infancy – Carrie Freitas.

Per Debra’s request, cremation services were held. There will be no public visitation or funeral service. Friends may make memorials to the Perry County Humane Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
