Debra “Debbie” Townsend Age 61, formerly of Hazelwood and Butler, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019. Beloved wife of 39 years to the late Philip “Chuck” Townsend; loving mother of Dayvanna Schreiner, Maryrose Townsend and the late Richie (Surv. Jessica Wiemer) Townsend; grandmother of Khadijah, Brandi, Destiny, Dakota, Isabella, Ryleigh, Kaiden, Cherokee and Paisleylynn; great-grandmother of Brayden, Catalinah and Gavanni; sister of Butch Messman, Daynett Radakovich and the late Denise Messman; and daughter of the late John Messman and Ruth (Hall) Mitchell.

Also survived by her dog, princess; and numerous step-children, nieces, nephews and other extended family. Debbie was a selfless and loving person. She became a mother to everyone and shared her kind heart with family and friends.

She enjoyed gospel, drinking Pepsi, watching Netflix and playing Bingo. Debbie owned and operated the Summit Diner in Fenelton for many years. Services will be announced at a later date.
